Opening the great street party is the impressive Rome Parade, curated by Destination Events, which will be attended by about 450 American artists, including marching bands, jazz bands, choirs, dancers and cheerleaders.

Among the groups involved: Amelia EarHawts & Cabin Krewe, formation of US majorettes celebrating its fifth anniversary and will perform the typical New Orleans style choreography with a super boom sonic; The Lambert High School Marching Band, an organization with over 200 members directed by Scott McCloy, Tonya Mashburn and John Mashburn, whose performances are well known internationally in civic, cultural and sports, with the awarding of numerous prestigious awards among the Bands of America Regional Class Championships and the Georgia Marching Band competitions, as well as performances at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, during the Norwegian Cruise Line’s NCL Sky and the London New Year’s Day Parade and Festival; The Schurr High School Spartan Legion, a band of Southern California high school that comes to Italy for the first time and which, giving voice to the soundtrack of the school with over 200 elements distributed in various musical programs, has a very rich repertoire ranging from popular songs to the sacred repertoire, constituting the function of ambassador of the entire local community; Thousand Oaks Band, part of the wide range of musical and visual ensembles of the Californian school of the same name, already winner of the 2010 Fiesta Bowl National Band Championship, named Grand National Champion of 2010 and active in the Honor Bands (bands of selected students) county, state and national. In 2016 the band also had the honor of participating in the inauguration of the US Army – President’s Cup and participating in the 2000 Rose Bowl Parade and at the 2002 and 2005 editions of the Bands of America Grand National Championship where is awarded first-class scores (Division 1) and has reached the national semi-finals.
