PMCE – Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble
Directed by the Maestro Tonino Battista, specialist musicians bring instruments and new performance techniques together to form the PMCE – Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble orchestra, which interprets and conveys the multiple richness of today’s music. Its musicians have worked with Karlheinz Stockhausen, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Franco Donatoni, Michele Dall’Ongaro and many others. At Festa di Roma, they will provide live accompaniment for Sylphes by Aerial Strada, they will play Max Richter’s version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and will accompany the pyrotechnic show at midnight created in partnership with ACEA.
