These are the artists who submitted their application for the CALL FOR AMATEUR PERFORMERS, and will perform: The Ultimi Romantici, a group of young people who pay homage to the great Italian musicians like De Andrè, Guccini, Rino Gaetano, etc. with the participation of Edoardo Valentino on vocals, piano and acoustic guitar, Umberto Antimi on acoustic guitar, Eleonora Atzeni on drums percussion, Bogdan Rosu on the electric bass; Enrico Petrucci on the guitar will create a performance with the typical timbres of swing music; Gli Occhi Della Città a Roman band of four boys born two years ago, composed of Lorenzo Marino as a soloist and lead guitarist, Giorgio Danese rhythm guitar and choirs, Riccardo Puletti on drums and Francesco Felici on bass, Busker Du, two acoustic guitars, fans of the Beatles who have fun playing them as soon as the opportunity arises. INFO on public access
The Festa di Roma 2018 begins on December 31st at 9 pm at the Circo Massimo. The public can access the Circo Massimo area through five entrances: Viale Aventino, Via della Greca, two on Via dei Cerchi and one on Via delle Terme Deciane. The entrance to the Circo Massimo area is free and allowed up to the maximum limit set by the new security system. For the disabled, bearing appropriate documentation certifying the invalidity, there is a special area to attend the concert at the Belvedere Romolo e Remo on Via del Circo Massimo, subject to availability. This area is accessed from Via delle Terme Deciane. Carers will be able to park the car, subject to availability, on the Piazzale Ugo La Malfa, just opposite. To reach the location of the Festa di Roma, it is advisable to use the underground with Circo Massimo stop, which on December 31 will be open – like all metro lines – up to 2.30 am (to resume January 1 from 8 to 23.30). Extraordinary opening of the Musei Capitolini and the archaeological area of the Circo Massimo
On the occasion of La Festa di Roma, on 1st January 2018, also the Musei Capitolini (from 15.00 to 19.00) and the archaeological area of the Circo Massimo (from 10.00 to 16.00) will be extraordinarily open to the public, with ordinary admission ticket. An exceptional opening, promoted by Roma Capitale, Assessorato alla Crescita culturale – Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura, which will allow citizens and tourists to participate in this special New Year’s Eve of the Capital, also enjoying this wonderful artistic heritage as well as attending events and shows that will animate the city for 24 consecutive hours of partying.
